Is kratom legal to export from Thailand?

Kratom has been lawful to trade in Thailand since 24 August 2021 and is regulated under the Kratom Plant Act 2022. Each export needs an ONCB export licence held by the licensed exporter and a shipment notice lodged at least seven business days before export. You must confirm kratom is legal to import and sell in your own market. We may decline a destination where it is not.

What is the minimum order?

There is no single minimum. It depends on format, vein grade and packaging. Trial orders are available, usually by air. Repeat volume is often LCL sea freight, and established programmes can move as full containers. We quote the minimum, the lead time and pricing for your exact specification. Pricing is not listed on this site.

Which documents come with a shipment?

Expect a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, the exporter’s ONCB licence details and shipment notification receipt code, and the air waybill or bill of lading. A phytosanitary certificate is included where the destination requires one. A lot-specific certificate of analysis is available on request when testing has been agreed for that lot.

How long does an order from Thailand take?

Plan for sample approval if you request samples, then production, the ONCB shipment notice of at least seven business days, then freight. Published forwarder figures put standard air at about 6 to 10 days to the United States and direct sea freight from Laem Chabang to Los Angeles at about 19 to 24 days, plus import clearance. Those transit figures are estimates, not guarantees. Production time is confirmed per order.

Who can buy?

Business buyers only: importers, distributors, brand owners and manufacturers aged 18 or over. We do not sell to consumers. Email is the only contact channel on this site.

Question 6

How do samples work?

Accepted Answer

Samples are paid, and you pay shipping. We quote the sample specification and the courier with the offer. Approve the sample before you confirm a production lot. You are welcome to test the sample at your own laboratory.

How is payment handled?

Accepted Answer

Production orders are paid 100% upfront by bank transfer before production starts. Bank details are sent with the written confirmation. We do not take card payments on this website.

Do you publish prices?

Accepted Answer

No. Pricing depends on format, strength, packaging and volume. Ask for a quote and we will reply within one business day.

Question 9

Is every lot tested, and is a certificate included?

Certificates of analysis are available on request. Third-party laboratory testing can be arranged for a lot. We do not claim that every lot is tested for heavy metals or microorganisms. The panel is the one agreed in the quote and printed on the certificate. If a result is not on the certificate, it was not part of that panel.

What should I send in an enquiry?

Company, contact name, email, destination country, business type, category and product. Kratom powder also asks mesh size. Extracts, isolates, oleoresin, liquid and nano water ask for a target strength. Other asks what you are looking for. Leaf, traditional grind and instant powder need no extra specification. Also estimated monthly volume (kg), first order size, whether you want pricing, samples or both, import permits and a timeline. The contact form shows only the questions that apply.

Do green, red and white vein grades mean different things?

They are trade descriptions used for leaf, and they depend on the harvest. We do not describe effects. Mitragynine is confirmed per lot, on the basis you agree, rather than inferred from the colour name.

What powder meshes can you source?

Accepted Answer

80–100 mesh and 200 mesh. Say which cut you want when you enquire. The minimum can differ between them.

Question 13

Which extracts are available?

Accepted Answer

Freebase mitragynine extract powder, saltbase mitragynine extract powder, and a liquid extract. They are offered across a range of strengths. The target and the reporting basis are agreed before production and confirmed on the lot. We do not publish a fixed percentage menu.

Will you name the farm or the processor?

Accepted Answer

Not on the public site. We coordinate Thai farms and partner processors and keep their names off these pages. Country and process are stated on the quote and the lot paperwork.

Question 15

Can you supply kava or CBD as well?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through partner processors. Noble kava from Fiji and Vanuatu is available as grind, instant and supercritical CO₂ oleoresin. CBD, CBG and CBN isolates and a nano water-soluble format are available the same way. Kratom remains the main line. The same sample and payment rules apply, and you must confirm destination law for each product.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide, where you have confirmed the goods may be imported. Freight is by air or sea with the export documents for that shipment. Import clearance is yours, with your broker.

Question 17

What does co-packing include?

Accepted Answer

Plain export packaging or private-label packing through partner processors, agreed in writing: pack type, fill and artwork. You are responsible for labelling rules in the destination market. Do not send artwork that makes health or medical claims.
